Nick & Katrina | Married | Kamloops

Usually, when I am done compiling the photos for a wedding blog, I stop to check the layout. I make sure the images line up, seem to flow, redo a few perhaps. Then I grab a coffee, pull up my chair and think about what to write. Sometimes it takes a few rewrites, but I seem to come up with stuff that is occasionally funny, but typically well received. I have spent the vast majority of my life writing, words filling the time between sunset and sunrise so often that the glow of candles and flip of pages is as familiar as the feel of my cameras shutter button.

.

Tonight I have deleted the text a dozen times.

Nick and Katrina are as close to my wife and I as family, and the words I need aren’t coming.  What do you say about such an incredible couple and day? I could wax poetic about how these two were meant to be together, or try to lighten the mood with jokes. But the truth of it is, anyone that has met or spent time with Nick and Katrina has come away changed. They have that effect on people. They surround themselves with laughter and love, with a passion for everything they do that is intoxicating.

.

Nick and Katrina. It was one of the great pleasures of my life to be a part of your wedding.  You two have a love that inspires stories, and it was an honour to watch this chapter unfold. Cheers you two.
